The Santes Colomes

At the town hall of Santa Coloma de Gramenet it does exist a Department called the Commission of the Santes Colomes that looks after the friendship link between the 10 cities whose common name is Santa Coloma.

Every action that has to do with the association is carried out in Santa Coloma de Gramenet as it exists a department responsible for this matter.

Last year we created the “Columba network” that pretends to foster activities and even a multilingual magazine in relation with the 10 municipalities and different realities of each one.

 Last year the network developed an important action dealing with Santa Coloma which is the publication of the book entitled “Santa Coloma als Comtats Catalans” by Jaume P. Sayrach.

The signature between 10 municipalities that take the name of Santa Coloma took place in Santa Coloma de Cervelló, in October 2004.

The Commissioner of the Santas Colomas is Mr. Carles Viñas i Serra who is responsible of the relationship between these municipalities.

Sainte Colombe sur l’Hers

There is a friendship relationship with this French municipality that assists to the meetings in a regular way. Our proposal is to sign the formal letter of twinning in the forthcoming months.
