The transformation process that we have started has the raison d'être in people, people who live and will live in these neigbourhoods. An urban renewal program that doesn't consider to the main beneficiaries woud be destinated to temporary solutions and it would end up failing in its aims.

Therefore, the whole actions of program places to people, citizens' neigbourhood in sight of the whole transformation actions.

We had designed occupational promotion and economic development actions in the target area that wil have to improve our labour market and to strength commerce.

We have created support teams aimed to child and young people to insist on population's vulnerability, with a special attention to those situations with risk of social exclusion. We are carry on developing the Coexistence Plan adapting this to needs of neighbourhoods, mainly bearing in mind the coexistence of several cultures.

We are impelling social programs that it tries to affect mutual awareness between neighbours, regardless of their origin, and to provide communication strategys and forums, to generate equipments and services aimed to children, teenagers and young people.

It has started to work the Social Exclusion Observatory what has as aim to provide a continued knowledge about the disavantadge sections of population in this area and thus to be able to design intervention programs adapted to reality.

We are working to guarantee the equality of opportunity for women improving the knowledge through their social and cultural reality.

In the educative field we put a plan in action that pursues the promotion and use of catalan language, the assurance of an optimal schooling for all the pupils and the pursuit and orientation for families with specific difficulties.
