The policies aimed at young people and  at people with reduced mobility, the construction of social housing directed to provide a new lodge to the affected families by the city planning operations,have had and will have a great impact in the target area of Llei de Barris. On the other hand, since the acquisition of land to built is very expensive and have un complex management, we are favouring the restoration of old housing and we have established economic and complementary aids of which Catalan Government grants within the framework of the Housing Restoration Plan.

Parking has become a problem in our city and especially in neighbourhoods of Fondo, El Raval, Santa Rosa and Safaretjos. The total number of cars have undergone a growth greater than parking places growth, and from Santa Coloma City Council we have made un bet to be able to provide to districts with concession awarded parking.

Replacement of degraded housing by higher quality housing so to release spaces to built green areas and equipments.

With this intention we have started different actions of housing replacement. In this process, bearing in mind the affected families and their situation, it is studied case by case to be able to reach agreements that does not create any social or economic damage. So this way, whenever is possible the affected families are replaced in quality social housing in the same space where was his old house or in another promotion of social housing in town.

Thus, in three years we will have built 689 new dwellings.
