The preservation of biodiversity for sustainable development

Biodiversity can be defined as the Convention on Biological Diversity (Rio de Janeiro, 1992) as "the variability among living organisms of all kinds, including, terrestrial, marine and other aquatic ecosystems and the ecological complexes of which part "; includes diversity within species between species and ecosystems.
The diversity conservation and their environment is seen as an essential condition for achieving lifestyles and sustainable development.
For a city as highly dense as Santa Coloma, the existence of natural areas in close proximity to the spaces in term of naturalisti, cultural and social life, these media being one of the main avenues of recreation in the city.
The recovery of these areas and reconciliation uses the same with the preservation of the environment should be a priority in our city to achieve sustainable development.
